Sortx works with connected Google Workspace (Google Calendar) and Microsoft 365 (Outlook) calendars. You connect them during setup; once connected, they contribute busy time to availability checks and receive booked appointments. Checks apply to the calendars your agency has connected, not to diaries Sortx cannot see.

Before an appointment is offered, Sortx checks staff eligibility and busy time in the connected staff calendars, and respects temporary holds, so slots come from genuine capacity. If a calendar cannot be checked, Sortx hands the request to staff instead of booking on weak evidence.

Yes. Staff eligibility is one of the checks made before an appointment is offered, alongside the property, coverage and diary capacity. Valuers and negotiators receive the appointments they are eligible for, in their own connected calendars.

No. Appointments land in the connected Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 calendars your staff already use. The team receives appointments, qualified enquiries, repair reports and handovers as actionable work — there is no side diary to police.

Sortx does not book on weak evidence. When a check cannot pass or judgement is needed, the original request, the facts collected and the remaining decision travel together to your team. Because appointment state is kept separate from calendar-sync state, a sync problem does not silently corrupt what has been agreed with a contact.

Supported inbound calls and conversations are answered outside branch hours, and an after-hours booking must pass exactly the same checks against genuine diary capacity as one made at 11am on a Tuesday. Your branch hours and booking rules still apply.
